The goals of United Non-Partisan Coalition are: 1) strengthening communities, and 2) advocating for ethical governance.  In creating our web site, we are working hard to keep our reporting as unbiased as possible.  This allows everyone who visits our site to gather information and come to their own conclusions.

The question then becomes, how does this information help strengthen communities or advocate for ethical governance?  Shouldn’t our web site serve as a call to action?

Yes, we want to take action.  Here’s how we can do so and still remain unbiased:  When there are areas of concern, let’s connect and discuss how to work together as community members.  Contact us at nonpartisangroup2017@gmail.com and we can discuss strategies for taking positive actions that hold our elected officials accountable for serving constituents.  The more people that contact us- the more geographical regions we represent- the greater our influence will be when speaking to our local representatives.  The more contact we have with each other, the more we can do to strengthen our communities!

Please check the Legislative Actions page on our web site.  Scroll to the bottom of the page.  Under the Montgomery County and Prince George’s County headings, you’ll find Legislative Actions.  Open Legislative Actions and look at the items your council has recently considered.  Where there are notes in red, we are showing that there is room for questioning and discussion.  We hope you will stop and read these sections and then contact us so we can work together.
